Frischhut relies on climate-friendly energy: Start-up of its own photovoltaic system
At Frischhut, we are pleased to announce an important step towards sustainability: The commissioning of our new photovoltaic system in Pfarrkirchen. With an output of 836 kilowatts (kW), a significant part of our energy requirements is now met directly by climate-friendly solar power.
Thanks to this investment in renewable energy, Frischhut is becoming increasingly energy self-sufficient and reducing its CO₂ emissions at the same time. We already purchase certified green electricity, but by generating our own on site, we can make our production even more environmentally friendly. This not only strengthens our competitiveness, but also our commitment to the energy transition.
‘With the new photovoltaic system, we are sending a clear signal in favour of a sustainable future. It enables us to manufacture our high-quality cast products even more responsibly,’ says Christoph Aigner, Managing Director of Frischhut.
This project was made possible by a partnership with Energy Partners GmbH. This co-operation enables us to use the solar energy generated directly on site, which not only brings ecological benefits, but also ensures stable and predictable energy costs in the long term.
The new photovoltaic system is a further step in our continuous development towards becoming a future-orientated and environmentally conscious company. At Frischhut, we are proud to make an active contribution to reducing emissions and strengthening renewable energies.
